Password Safe does not require account registration and does not collect personal data on external servers.
- Passwords and saved entries: Stored locally on your device.
- App settings: Stored locally using iOS system storage.
- No analytics or ads tracking: The App does not use third-party advertising SDKs or analytics trackers.
How Your Data Is Stored and Protected
- Sensitive authentication data (such as the app master password) is stored using Apple Keychain protections.
- Some non-sensitive app state and preferences may be stored in iOS UserDefaults.
- The App includes in-app privacy protections, such as obscuring sensitive content when appropriate.
Biometric Authentication (Face ID / Touch ID)
If enabled, biometric authentication is used only to unlock access to the App on your device. Biometric data itself is handled by Apple and is not accessible to the App.
Camera Access
The App may request camera access to scan password QR codes. Camera input is used only for scanning and is not uploaded to external servers by the App.
Data Sharing
Password Safe does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
Data Retention
Your data remains on your device until you delete entries or remove the App. If you uninstall the App, local data may be removed according to iOS behavior.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Choices
- You can deny camera permission in iOS Settings.
- You can disable biometric unlock in the App or device settings.
- You can delete your data directly in the App and by uninstalling the App.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the effective date on this page.
